Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Reserving Your Journey

To lock in your travel dates, transport, and lodging, we require an initial deposit when you book.

• The Deposit: Securing your itinerary requires a deposit. Our management team determines the specific amount depending on your travel dates and chosen services. Upon receipt, we immediately secure your accommodations and add your journey to our master schedule.
• Final Balance: Your outstanding balance must be paid in full on the first day of your expedition.
• Communication: To avoid confusion, all booking adjustments or inquiries must be routed through the designated lead traveler.

2. Cancellation & Refund Timeline

All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing. Our standard cancellation policy is structured as follows:

• 31+ Days Before Departure: The initial deposit is non-refundable; however, we will retain this amount as a flexible credit that you can apply toward any future Proper Morocco Tours booking.
• 10 to 30 Days Before Departure: A cancellation fee equal to 50% of your total trip cost will be applied.
• Less than 10 Days Before Departure: No refunds will be issued (100% of the total tour cost is retained).

3. Force Majeure

Occasionally, sudden itinerary adjustments are unavoidable due to unpredictable events beyond our control. Such extreme situations may include severe weather, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or other emergencies.

If delays, route changes, or cancellations happen because of these "force majeure" events, Proper Morocco Tours cannot accept liability or offer compensation.

4. Travel Insurance

Securing comprehensive travel insurance is a mandatory step before joining our tours. Your policy must provide adequate coverage for medical emergencies, personal injury, illness, repatriation, and personal liability.

We also strongly recommend adding protection for flight delays, trip cancellations, and the loss or theft of personal belongings and luggage. Obtaining the proper coverage is entirely the traveler's responsibility.

5. Accommodations, Requests & Complaints

• Lodging Standards: The style and quality of accommodations reflect local Moroccan standards and infrastructure. We secure all riads, hotels, and desert camps based on availability at the time of your deposit.
• Special Requirements: If you have specific dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferred room configurations, let us know during the booking process. We make every effort to accommodate these requests, though they cannot be absolutely guaranteed.
• Resolving Issues: If you encounter any problems during your trip, please communicate them immediately to your driver, guide, or lodging staff so we can quickly address and resolve the situation on the spot.
